MET(T)A PROTOCOL

Mindfulness & EMDR Treatment Template for Agencies

323-248-7475 X5

MET(T)A is a new and innovative way to envision and implement Addictions treatment that is grounded in the well researched 30 year old theory and practice of EMDR therapy. This approach leans heavily upon the incredible work of those who have explored the use of EMDR therapy with PTSD, addictions and a whole host of issues, and upon the obvious and deep need for trauma resolution to be a focus of sustainable long term recovery.

INTRODUCTION TO MET(T)A PROTOCOL

Treatment Centers and Group Practices who employ the MET(T)A PROTOCOL understand the need for trauma-focused care, supported staff, and clear, organized and evidence-based treatment programming. Introduction to MET(T)A PROTOCOL programs receive these benefits:

  • An evidence-based framework (The integration of EMDR therapy, mindfulness, and Buddhist Psychology) from which to operate your treatment center or group practice

  • Alignment with private insurance and accreditation agency mandates (Joint Commission, CARF) that treatment must be trauma-focused and integrated

  • Aligned, integrated staff and staff protocols for increased staff and client retention

  • Knowledge that treatment is evidence-based and at the forefront of the most efficacious substance use and co-occurring disorder treatment
